HGYS has 5 types of membership. Please read the description below and choose the Membership type most appropriate to you. All membership applications are reviewed by the HGYS Registrar.

*The membership component for new membership application will be invoiced separately once membership application has been approved. 

Active 

This is full HGYS membership and applies for adults and children alike. 

Annual membership  total of $400:

- membership fee of $100 payable every January or on joining

- quarterly training fee of $75 payable every January, April , July and October.

Entitlements:

Able to attend all basic HGYS classes.

Able to attend Advanced classes subject to qualification.

Eligible for HGYS gradings.

Priority selection for participation in HGYS performances.

Eligible for parking reimbursement, gratuities, HGYS annual events eg CNY dinner, Christmas party.

Covered by HGYS public liability insurance and WTQA weapons exemption. 

Family 

Family membership allows immediate family members to join for a reduced fee. Membership entitlements are the same as Active. 

Annual membership  total of $1000:

- membership fee of $200 payable every January or on joining

- quarterly training fee of $200 payable every January, April , July and October.

To initiate a Family membership, the primary member selects the Family option below and completes their membership. They will receive instructions on how to add additional Family members for no additional charge.

Concession

Provides the same membership entitlement as Active, but at a reduced rate. 

This rate is only applied with Chief Instructor or TTC Instructor approval. This will be confirmed after membership application.

Affiliate

This is the HGYS membership for volunteers who wish to assist with HGYS performances.

Fees do not apply.
Not eligible to attend any HGYS classes.

Not eligible for parking reimbursement, gratuities, HGYS annual events eg CNY dinner, Christmas party.

Public Liability cover applies.

Not eligible for coverage under HGYS/WTQA Weapons exemption.

Single Class Membership for Tai Chi only.

For Tai Chi only.

Not eligible for priority selection for participation in HGYS performances.

Eligible for parking reimbursement, gratuities, free annual events eg CNY dinner, Xmas Party, Open Days *
